Bloomington

I have tried to write this post about a dozen times over the past month and have decided this morning to finally get it done. Why today? Perhaps because it is currently 26 degrees outside and I am not particularly thrilled to get on the bike and head to work just yet. Actually, the reason this needs to get done is because I have slacked off from writing and need to get back into the habit.

Bike Path

Part of my bike path I take daily

I accepted a position at Indiana University Bloomington as the Social Sciences Librarian because the job was too good to pass up. I was not looking for something new, but when the job ad appeared I thought I would take a chance and apply, the worst that could happen would be rejection. Leaving WSU was not easy. I had the best work colleagues (both in and out of the library) imaginable. However, the opportunities at Indiana are tremendous.

I have also been working on a few self improvement issues that I am sure my readers are just dying to know. First, I have stopped double spacing after periods. Yes, I know this has been out of favor for some time, but I just could not stop myself. I have also waged a person battle against ending sentences in prepositions.

Ok. There it is, my post about Indiana and my return to some form of writing. Damn it, the current temperature is still 26.
